Kilimanjaro Adventure – Endurance Test for the Joya Active Sole
Only a few weeks until February - then Joya founders Karl Müller and Claudio Minder will climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The perfect opportunity to put the Joya Active sole technology to the test before its launch.
The newly developed Active sole features a combination of a soft elastic midsole and a supportive forefoot stabilizer. The sole structure is rounded off by a trekking sole, which provides a firm grip. Excellent conditions to tackle the roughly 60km long climb, with all its climatic and scenic features.
The ascent to the roof of Africa, which is almost 6,000 meters high, leads through five different climate zones: from fertile plantation landscape, it goes through tropical rainforest, through heath and moorland, to the dry high-alpine zone and finally ends in the icy permafrost zone. The perfect conditions to put the new addition to Joya soles through a real endurance test!
Find out soon how Joya shoes perform in such exceptional conditions - stay tuned.
